The program will consist of 12 weeks of digital training, where the young participants will have technical classes in advertising and digital tools, taught by Google professionals, while Junior Achievement will provide mentoring sessions and training in soft skills, personal leadership and interpersonal relationships. The objective of the program is to enable the employability of these young people, so at the end of the program they will receive a follow-up for interview practice, improve their CVs and connect them with real interviews to apply for roles with ecosystem partners, such as digital advertising agencies.

Participants must be between 18 and 30 years of age from the countries mentioned above, be graduates of public or subsidized private schools, not currently employed in a formal job and have a stable internet connection. The selection process will consist of a series of interviews focused on identifying the profiles that meet the requirements and, in addition, being a free program, will take into account the commitment and interest shown by applicants.

On many occasions we think that certain social groups simply cannot overcome obstacles, but the reality is that when it comes to our young people, they just need to have greater access to opportunities so that they can do the rest. When there is access, there is empowerment, and that empowerment makes it possible to put young people in this case, at the center and as protagonists of the economic recovery of the region ", expressed Leo Martellotto, President of JA Americas, who also added that" we know that Soft skills are universally necessary, but if they are combined with technical training, it is difficult to go from theory to action: that is why initiatives com o Grow with Google for Youth, for which we are collaborating with Google, b provide access to opportunities and specificity in relation to the market where young people can be inserted, as part of the economy of the knowledge ”.

" Grows with Google for Youth ''is a concrete example of Google's commitment to democratizing access to information, education, and economic recovery in Latin America in a post-pandemic scenario. Today we face an uncertain future, in which we must invest and support the new generations of young people (especially those who are in a situation of vulnerability) since they are the ones who will be able to take advantage of these trainings, to thus help economic reconstruction. from our countries ”, concluded Paula Belizia, VP of Marketing, Google Latin America.
