Who we are
The Challenge: Youth Employment
The dual crises of youth employment and economic inequality are two of the most pressing challenges facing the Americas today. Latin America and the Caribbean currently face 10.3% of unemployment rate, with youth unemployment (30 Millions of total unemployed in the region) rising to 18.1%. They are exposed to causes and effects of unemployment.
23 million young people
are neither working nor engaged in education or training (NEET) and more than 66,5% are women. In addition, 40% of formal firms in LAC report having difficulty filling jobs.
The Solution
We inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through the delivery of hands – on, blended learning, we activate youth for the future of jobs, by teaching the skills they need.
