This is the first cycle for television and streaming created by Junior Achievement in partnership with the DIRECTV news signal. Hosted by influencer Santiago Jasminoy provides the best tips for managing the economy, savings and investments.

Today was the premiere of “1, 2, 3 Finanzas!”, the first financial education series created for television and streaming by Junior Achievement Americas in alliance with DNEWS, DIRECTV's news signal for all of Latin America; thanks to the support of Delta Air Lines.

The series has 12 weekly 3-minute episodes, which will be aired on Tuesdays on all segments of DNEWS. Led by financial advisor and influencer Santiago Jasminoy (@santinversor), the program will address basic concepts of daily and family economy such as expenses, means of payment, purchasing decisions, savings and investments, and will share tools for making conscious and informed financial decisions.

DNEWS, Latin America's first live news signal for Latin America, can be seen in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay through DIRECTV's satellite TV service (channels 700 and 1700 HD) or through the live TV and streaming platform DGO. In Brazil, “1,2,3 Finanzas!” will be available on SKY+, and in Mexico, via DGO

The episodes will be replayed on weekends and there will be a special at the end of the series. In addition, episodes of "1,2,3 Finance!" will be relived through DGO and viewers will also be able to continue their learning journey with additional resources and more information at 123finanzas.org.

The series was created to redouble financial inclusion efforts and address one of the biggest concerns of the younger generation: a Junior Achievement report revealed that only 1 in 4 young people believe they are prepared to manage their money, and 7 out of 10 believe that financial education is the most relevant subject for their future. (Report Los adolescentes y las finanzas, published by Junior Achievement Argentina and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in 2022).

"We are very proud of this project! Financial education is a key ally for promoting autonomy and confidence in young people. We want them to take everything they are going to learn in this series to their personal projects, their families and communities; we want them to feel that they are protagonists and capable of achieving everything they set out to do, " said Bernardo Brugnoli, director of Junior Achievement in Argentina.

"In Junior Achievement, young people learn, through experience, play and interaction with professionals and entrepreneurs, key knowledge and skills to make their life projects a reality. Financial education, along with job readiness and entrepreneurship are our pillars. DIRECTV and Delta Air Lines gave us the opportunity to bring our content to television and streaming. For us it is a dream come true and the beginning of a new path in new channels to promote financial inclusion in the region, " added Noël Zemborain, president of Junior Achievement Americas.

For his part, Vrio Corp.'s News Director (parent company of DIRECTV Latin America, DGO and SKY Brazil), Marcelo Salomone, highlighted that "this series adds to the proposal of the highest quality content, with a differential and relevant value for the audience that Vrio Corp currently brings to more than 40 million viewers throughout the region".

With “1, 2, 3 Finanzas!” we will provide concrete tools to address the challenges that the region's economy presents to millions of young people and families in Latin America, such as financial inclusion and youth unemployment, " added Salomone.

The proposal is supported by Delta Air Lines, Junior Achievement's global partner. "We are proud to support Junior Achievement and its teams on five continents. This alliance contributes to expanding financial literacy and practical skills that will help create a future in which entrepreneurs and innovators thrive, " the airline said.
