Our students shine at #DellTechWorld
Four Junior Achievement Americas Alumni, outstanding entrepreneurs and participants of COY 2023, were chosen to be part of the #NextGenInnovators at Dell Tech World; Dell's tech annual event.
They were able to meet with visionary leaders such as Michael Dell, Jensen Huang and Katya Echazarreta; and reaffirmed their commitment to creating a better future through innovation, entrepreneurship and technology.
During the month of May, four Junior Achievement Americas alumni were selected to travel to Las Vegas to live an incredible experience and be our representatives at #DellTechWorld, Dell's annual event that brought together collaborators, innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs in the areas of AI, innovation, technological developments and sustainability from around the world.
Sofia and Elisabeth, from RE-DO, a company from Guatemala, and Joao Pedro and Lucas, from Bee Hug, a Miniempresa from Brazil, outstanding entrepreneurs and COY 2023 participants, were chosen to be part of the #NextGenInnovators; a group specially selected as the event's next generation of innovative leaders. One of the common characteristics of the companies created by the students is their innovative character, promoting the circular economy; and that is what they showed, making their pitch in the central space of the event.
In addition, they were able to meet with visionary leaders such as Michael Dell, Jensen Huang and Katya Echazarreta; and reaffirmed their commitment to creating a better future through innovation, entrepreneurship and technology.
Even if I could speak 100 languages, I couldn’t express how grateful I am and how important this event was for me,” said Joao Pedro, one of the students who participated in the experience.
Dell is one of our allies. Together they developed the company's management system "Enterprise Space" in which students monitor their companies and improve their performance, as well as support the expansion and development of the program throughout the region.
We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the Dell team for the invitation and support in this experience, which will undoubtedly mark a before and after in the lives of Sofia, Elisabeth, Joao Pedro and Lucas; who also shined thanks to their outstanding participation.
